Terms of use for the intermediary service
These terms and conditions govern your use of the loan comparison and loan intermediation service provided by Zmarta AB, reg. no. 556647-0737. When you initiate or complete a comparison or application for a loan through zmarta.se or freedomfinance.se, by telephone or otherwise, you do so in relation to Zmarta AB (hereinafter referred to as "Zmarta" or "we"), which provides these services.
Zmarta is a credit intermediary that offers a service where you can compare loan terms with different lenders that we work with (the "Service"). Zmarta has the necessary permits and is under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
When you use the Service, you, and any co-applicant, accept and agree to these Terms of Use. When we write "you/you/your" in the future, this also includes any co-applicants. You are responsible for ensuring that your co-applicant has read and accepts these terms and conditions.
What does it mean to make a loan comparison via Zmarta?
The mediation service and your acceptance of these terms of use means that you instruct Zmarta to make a loan application and obtain loan offers for you from our partners (affiliated lenders). You agree that Zmarta shares information that you have provided with affiliated lenders.
Zmarta takes a credit check and collects other information about you that is shared with the lenders
By using the Service, you, and any co-applicant, agree that Zmarta will order a credit report on you from UC AB ("UC"). Only one credit report is registered with UC that our affiliated lenders can access. UC will send you request copies so that you know what information has been disclosed and to whom. You can get several request copies, but this does not mean that several credit reports have been registered on you. A few of our affiliated lenders can also order credit reports from a credit bureau other than UC. These credit reports do not affect each other or your credit score.
Lenders may contact your employer and/or conduct searches of public records to verify the information provided. Zmarta can also use public records to verify the information provided.
You can choose to give Zmarta permission to collect supplementary information from your bank account in order for lenders to make a more accurate credit assessment. If you give Zmarta such permission, you also authorize Zmarta to forward the information to affiliated lenders.
Your loan application will be sent to the lenders that best match your profile
Zmarta will send your loan application to the lenders that best match your profile. This means that information that you provide in your application and that is in your credit report is matched with the requirements set by different lenders such as loan amount, income, payment defaults, type of employment, age, etc. Your application is then processed by the lenders who could offer you a loan.
The lenders process your loan application and share information with Zmarta
In order for Zmarta to be able to fulfill its mission as an intermediary, we need to receive information from the lenders who examine your application about how your case is going, what decision the lender makes and other information of importance to our service. By using the Service, you agree that the lenders who examine your application will disclose such information to Zmarta.
Processing of personal data
You can find information about how we process your personal data in our data protection policy.
Things to consider before taking out a new loan
Before you take out a loan, it is important that you review your finances, for example by making a budget and seeing if your finances can bear the cost of the loan. If you are a consumer, you can use the Swedish Consumer Agency's website Hallå Konsument for independent guidance and to get tips on how to get a better overview of your personal finances and what you can do to make your money last longer.
Advance information under the Consumer Credit Act
Loans that Zmarta mediates to consumers are subject to the Housing Credit Act and the Consumer Credit Act. If you want to check Zmarta's regulatory status, this can be done at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and at fi.se. Zmarta's credit intermediaries are employees of the company and meet the formal requirements for being a credit intermediary.
Fees and compensation
You do not pay any fees to Zmarta for the brokerage. Zmarta receives compensation from the lenders for our part in the brokerage. The compensation is variable and varies depending on who is the lender for the credit you choose. However, employees of Zmarta who mediate the credit have the same salary and compensation regardless of which lender you choose.
When you apply for a mortgage through Zmarta, it is clear what compensation Zmarta receives from the lender from the standardized fact sheet that you receive from the lender before you enter into the credit agreement.
Lenders
Here you find a list of the lenders that Zmarta cooperates with. The credits are mediated to selected lenders and not on the basis of an impartial analysis.
Counseling
Zmarta does not offer any advice in connection with credit mediation.
